Marty has lived in Dalhart for the past 20 years. Marty graduated from Clayton High School, worked at Potter Feedlot for several years as a cattle doctor, and is presently employed by Ronnie Farris in his farm and cattle operation. Marty is married to Kelly and they have one child, Payton, who is eight years old. Marty is serving his third year on the board and has the duty of Rodeo Director.
